You are in the Lake Distict, where people come to be inspired, immersed in nature, challenged or just to relax.

When you stay in our yurts can do all these things.. relaxing, inspiration and nature from within but challenges you will have to go out and find!

So now it is upto you to leave the yurt and seek adventure.. for within the lake district national park there is something for everyone. Beautiful villages, secret swimming spots, famous footsteps to follow and water in abundance to be surfed, sailed or scrambled.. not to mention the rock to climb, the thermals to glide or the glades in which to sit and contemplate..

We embrace all of this and hope there is something up here for you too.. and we hope that when you stay with us, it lives upto the landscape in which we are proud to call home..

You could:

• Try any one of the 214 Wainwright fells..
• Canoe onto one of the islands of Lake Windermere and have a ‘swallows and amazons’ adventure..
• Bike the north face trail in grizedale forest
• Visit Beatrix Potters’ home of Hill Top Farm..
• Read a poem by Wordsworth whilst realxing at the yurt before travelling the 5 miles to his ancestral home of Rydal Hall..
• Enjoy the delights of Hawkshead or Ambleside
