Our RomaDome - Lake Coniston

Coniston Map

A LITTLE GEM OF A CAMPSITE – CAN’T BE MANY SITES WITH VIEWS THIS GOOD!!

  • The National Trust campsite at Hoathwaite is located on the western shore of Lake Coniston set high with fantastic views over the lake and surrounding fells (does have lake access but do need to do a 5/10 minute walk to the lake shore - all part of National Trust land)
  • A great base to access some of the many fantastic activities to be done in the surrounding area what ever the weather..  It is a recommendation if you fancy something a little different, a little Gem of a site..
  • This Year hoping to be serving our popular Wood Fired Pizzas a short walk away :)

Yoruk 18ft RomaDome

Pano interior of RomaDome

The RomaDome is a new invention of mine that is very Yurt like but its design is like no other I have seen or have made before.. It is very similar to a yurt but stands a little taller and a lot stronger..

You are located close to Lake Coniston with commanding views over the lake and surrounding fells

Sleeps 4/5:  1 Double Futon, a single bed with trundle bed and a cushion bed for the 5th

PET FRIENDLY

  • Woodburner
  • Fully stocked kitchen (without the food ;)) so you can cook up a storm
  • Proper table and chairs, as you won't always want to sit on a futon
  • Opening windows for when the woodburner makes the yurt a little too toasty
  • Lockable door
  • BBQ / Firepit with seating
  • LED Lighting
  • Bedding provided
  • A Basket of wood for the Wood Burner
