Terms and Conditions
General terms and conditions
Terms and conditions for accommodation offered through Gill Bank Woods affiliate business – Wild in Style operating through the website www.wildinstyle.co.uk
Because of the current situation caused by COVID-19, we may have to deviate from the services we normally provide. This may vary depending on government guidelines. Examples of services that will be affected are: limited day visitors allowed and limited use of communal spaces. Tours of the farm will be carried out with the necessary measures. The situation can change at any time, so our measures may change at any time, even after completing your booking. Don’t hesitate to contact us for the latest update.
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, reservations and agreements regarding the rental of all accommodations, which are rented by Gill Bank Woods or its affiliated company ‘Wild in Style’. In these General Terms and Conditions the term ‘tenant’ means: the person who enters into an agreement with Wild in Style with respect to the lease/use of accommodation. The term ‘user’ (also referred to as guest) also means: the tenant and the persons specified by the tenant who (will) make use of the accommodation rented by the tenant.
Wild in Style only takes bookings for persons over 18 years old. Wild in Style reserves the right to refuse a booking at any time – without giving reasons. Wild in Style will confirm and invoice the booking to you by e-mail within 1 working day of receipt. The confirmation, including the invoice, must be checked for correctness immediately after receipt. Possible or alleged inaccuracies must always be made known by telephone or e-mail within 10 days after the date of the confirmation/invoice or in any case before the start of the stay. If you do not receive a written confirmation or invoice within 1 working day after booking, you must contact Wild in Style. If, due to unseen circumstances, Wild in Style must make a change to a booked reservation regarding location or the type and/or location of the accommodation, Wild in Style can offer you a suitable alternative. Bookings made before 1 September with an arrival date in the following calendar year can be cancelled by Wild in Style before 31 August if there is reason to do so due to new developments since the date of booking. If necessary, Wild in Style will provide you with alternative locations for the chosen date or refund your deposit in full.

The price stated on the confirmation/invoice is binding. Price discounts and/or special offers can no longer be used after confirmation/invoice has been sent by Wild in Style. All prices are inclusive of VAT, if applicable, unless stated otherwise. Wild in Style has the right to increase prices because of interim adjustments to statutory regulations or provisions (including, but not limited to VAT and insurance tax) over which Wild in Style has no influence.

The outstanding balance must be paid in full to Wild in Style no later than 21 days before the start of the stay. When booking within 21 days of the start of the accommodation rental, the invoice must be paid in full at the time of booking. In the event of late or incomplete payment of the invoiced amounts, you will be in default. Wild in Style will send you a reminder to pay. If Wild in Style is not in possession of the amount within 5 days after the date of the reminder, Wild in Style has the right to unilaterally dissolve the agreement by writing to the guest. You are liable for all damage Wild in Style suffers or will suffer as a result, including all costs incurred by Wild in Style in connection with your booking and the dissolution. In any case, you will owe a cancellation fee of 30% of the booking amount in the event of cancellation more than 14 days before the planned date of commencement of the stay and equal to the total booking amount in the event of cancellation within 7 days before the start of the accommodation rental. Any money already paid will be set off against the cancellation fee to be paid and any compensation due for other damages. If no payment has been made yet, the above amounts will be charged. All payment methods via www.wildinstyle.co.uk are free of charge.
7. Alteration costs
In principle, changes within 21 days before arrival are not allowed. If, after making the booking, you wish to make changes to the booking, Wild in Style is not obliged to do so. Wild in Style is free to choose whether, and to what extent, these changes will be accepted. For any changes up to 21 days before arrival to a booking already made, we will charge you £55 for amendment costs. These costs will not be charged if you rebook or change to a more expensive period. If you change to a cheaper period or (a partial) cancellation within a period of 21 days before the start of your stay, you will owe the full booking amount. If you wish to reduce the number of booked accommodation units after booking more than one accommodation unit, the cancellation provisions under point 10 apply.
8. Transfer of rights
The tenant and other users are not allowed to leave the accommodation under any name whatsoever and for any reason whatsoever to persons other than those mentioned in the agreement, unless Wild in Style has agreed to this. If you have agreed with Wild in Style that one or more users will be replaced, you will remain jointly and severally liable to Wild in Style, in addition to the tenant and/or users who replace you and/or other users, for the payment of the part of the rent still due, the amendment costs and any additional costs resulting from the replacement and any cancellation costs.
It is advisable to participate in the cancellation insurance of Wild in Style at the time of booking. Without participation the following provisions apply:
